This refreshing and hydrating Watermelon Smoothie is made with only 4 ingredients and takes only 4 minutes to be ready. Its vegan and nutritious along with being a perfect summer drink.

My family loves watermelon to the extent that sometimes we make a meal out of it. We are always falling short of watermelons irrespective of the quantity bought from the store. I hardly get a chance to explore any recipe with watermelon and hence, my ideas and creativity stay in my mind most of the time.
Ingredients for Watermelon Smoothie
Watermelon chunks – this fruit is the hero of the recipe and brings out not only excellent flavor but its beautiful color and fiber too.
Flax milk – Even though you may use any dairy free milk of your choice I chose flax milk because of its health benefits. Also, it it nut free and high in omega 3 as well.
Hemp seeds – As we all know it is one of the superfoods it is high in protein and loaded with fiber.
Peanuts – Its high in protein and good fats. It also gives this beverage a thick body and flavors it immensely.
How to make Watermelon Smoothie
It is extremely simply and basically a 2 step direction:
- Firstly combine all the ingredients in a blender and then blend it smooth.
- Next, Pour it in serving glasses and enjoy it immediately.
I remember in my childhood days when I was in school on my way home there was this stall where I always bought watermelon slush in hot summer days and relished them. The taste still lingers in my mouth and I am sure that given a chance my daughter would go crazy with it.
But now that I am into a healthy lifestyle and trying to create healthy recipes with lots of nutrition, I now realize how much sugar and calories I would consume in that divine slush.
Hence, I thought of creating this unique ‘Watermelon Smoothie’ where I combined milk, watermelon and peanuts. To my surprise it turned out to be delicious, satisfying, refreshing and a great hydrating drink for summers.

Watermelon Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups watermelon chunks
- 1/2 cup unsweetened flax milk
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp raw unsalted peanuts (without skin)
Instructions
- In a blender combine all the ingredients and blend it smooth.
- Pour it into serving glassed and enjoy it immediately.
