I made Salted Caramel Oatmeal Smoothie in this Vitamix Aer Disc Container with Series E310 Blender and I was totally satisfied with the outcome. This smooth and creamy smoothie is a perfect holiday beverage to satisfy the craving for a dessert in a drink form. Moreover, its guilt free with the addition of health. The sweet flavor of dates are blended with almond butter and almond milk. Then, the flax seed meal in this smoothie makes it outstanding. The addition of little salt enhances the flavors by balancing the sweetness and other flavors perfectly.

Now, coming back to the recipe, I must say I love winter especially December month. It’s the best time of the year because of the festivities and the deliciousness. At the same time indulging into too much goodies might create some health/weight issues. Therefore, we are always guilty of enjoying some of our favorite holiday recipes. Hence, I came up with Salted Caramel Oatmeal Smoothie to make our holiday indulgence guilt free.

It’s the easiest and the most satisfying beverage for this month. It can be consumed after a workout, or just when relaxing, as an evening snack or in a get together. Simply throw all the ingredients in a high powder blender and blend it smooth.

Ingredients for Salted Caramel Oatmeal Smoothie

Pitted dates
Almond butter
Unsweetened almond milk
Vanilla extract
Cooked oatmeal
Flaxseed meal
Pinch of salt

Salted Caramel Oatmeal Smoothie

This smooth and creamy Salted Caramel Oatmeal Smoothie is a perfect holiday beverage to satisfy the cravings for a dessert in a drink form. It's easy to blend and delicious to the taste buds along with being refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp vegan chocolate chips (melted) (to garnish)
  • 10-12 vegan marshmallow (to garnish)

Instructions

  • In a blender combine all the ingredients (except the garnishing ingredients) and blend it smooth. 
  • In a bowl melt the chocolate chips. If it's too thick add 1 tbsp of water to bring it to the right consistency. Now, turn the serving glass upside down and dip the rim of the glass into the melted chocolate. Press it down nicely to coat the rim of the serving glass with the melted chocolate very well.  Repeat the same process with the rest of the glasses.
  • Thereafter, pour the smoothie equally in all the glasses and top them with marshmallows.
  • Enjoy this smoothie immediately.
