I love tahini and have used it in my cookies and in my pasta salad. I have also tried it in black bean fritters and cooked in fusilli pasta as well. Its so versatile and so creamy and makes everything tastes so good.

This lemon tahini dressing recipe is the easiest and the most demanded one and is our recent favorite. I am practically drizzling it over every kind of food that I eat these days.

It’s so rich, flavorful and requires no cooking. You may use your own home-made tahini or use a store bought one.

What is tahini?

It is basically sesame seeds ground into a creamy paste form. Sometimes, it is blended with oil to make a smooth paste and also flavored with salt. It is slightly bitter in taste but when combined correctly with the right ingredients it tastes wonderful. It nutty, bright and rich in taste and texture.

I have used these easy 7 ingredients to make it the best tahini dressing recipe. Also, it made in only one bowl which is super convenient.

Ingredients notes:

Tahini – it is different for Chinese sesame paste so make sure to buy a good quality tahini. Its light in color and creamy and has a pouring consistency. It should be smooth and not chunky.

Lemons – I used large yellow lemon to squeeze fresh juice and also to zest it for refreshing aroma and flavor.

Garlic powder – you may grate fresh garlic clove but I like to use garlic powder so that it mixes well.

Maple syrup – this is a wet sweetener that I like to use this in this lemon tahini salad dressing.
