Lately, I have been using Flax milk for all my smoothies and I love it. It gives a different flavor which reminds me of a baked dessert.

Since then I don’t miss desserts at all. Flax milk is super healthy with only 50 calories per serving.

It is dairy free and a perfect choice for nut allergens since it is nut free along with being lactose and soy free. I combined milk and red grapes for the first time and to my surprise it was a hit in my family.

There is always a hesitation whether grapes and milk goes together but it was delicious and now I have to regularly blend this Cherry Apricot Red Grapes Smoothie for my family. I guess I increased my work load, but it’s all worth it.

Ingredients for Cherry Apricot Red Grapes Smoothie

Cherries – it adds to the freshness, sweetness and to the color of the smoothie.

Red Grapes – This fruit is the hero of the recipe. it;s a unique combination with dairy free milk but a must try.

Apricot – Its in the season and adds to the texture of this smoothie.

Basil leaves – This herb adds to the flavor of this smoothie.

Cold water – I used water as a thinner for this smoothie.

Flax milk – its a nutritious dairy free milk loaded with protein and is very low in calories.

Hemp seeds – We all know its a super food with lots of protein and fiber.

Maple syrup – I used it as an option to sweeten this smoothie if the fruits are not enough.
