Almond Butter Hemp Smoothie is not only refreshing but it tastes outstanding. The combination of ingredients in this smoothie is super filing. It also suffices perfectly as a breakfast or as a post workout replenishment beverage. Especially if you are not a protein powder/shake kind of a person then Almond Butter Hemp Smoothie is definitely your call. I simply love it and often enjoy it after my workouts.
Almond Butter Hemp Smoothie is creamy, slightly thick and absolutely delectable to the taste buds. It replenishes well after a workout and helps regain the energy. Sometimes, when I am running out of time I quickly blend this smoothie and fuel myself in the early morning hours. I also experimented by refrigerating this smoothie for a couple of days. I have to say, it worked out extremely well for me. It only required to be whipped with a spoon. So, simply enjoy directly from the refrigerator as a make – ahead smoothie. The cold, buttery and protein smoothie is my all-time favorite beverage.
For this, I used fresh ground almond butter. I used fresh ground almond butter to avoid any preservatives and other hidden ingredients which is common in a bottled almond butter. Along with it I added pitted dates as a sweetener. You may use any sweetener of your choice but I personally prefer dates. Dates are high in nutrition. It’s also a more natural form of sugar. Dates are extremely rich in potassium. They have more potassium content than bananas. That is what attracts me towards dates apart from its delectable taste.
Thereafter, I added super food hemp seeds for nutrition enhancement. It also increased the fiber and the protein in this smoothie. Lastly, I poured in hemp milk. I love hemp milk. Sometimes, I prefer it over almond milk in my smoothies. By adding hemp milk the smoothie acquired an exquisite flavor which I can still taste in my mouth. Also, if desired you could blend in crushed ice and enjoy.
Almond Butter Hemp Smoothie definitely tastes the best when consumed immediately after blending. However, it tastes equally good after couple of days of staying in the refrigerator. I would highly recommend you to quickly blend Almond Butter Hemp Smoothie and taste it yourself. This smoothie has become my favorite. I guarantee once you get hooked on to Almond Butter Hemp Smoothie its going to be a regular in your house as it is in mine. Yashvi relishes this smoothie and it is her after school snack at least 3 times a week 🙂
