Did You Know You Are Healthier Even If The Scale Isn’t Moving?

Yes, it’s true that the weighing machine determines our weight loss or weight gain. It can heavily contribute to our motivation and emotions. Every time we step on the scale we expect a decrease in the numbers and if the opposite happens or the scale does not move at all we feel horrible and the first thing that comes to our mind is – why are we working so hard if we aren’t losing any weight? And there we lose our hope and determination and we easily get discouraged to continue on our healthy lifestyle path without even giving a second chance.

Initially when I started my weight loss journey I faced the same situation couple of times and gave up following a healthy lifestyle twice. It happens with everyone but if we see it positively and rethink our activities we will realize that we feel healthier in spite of the stubborn scale.

Here are few signs that will help you realize that you are healthier even if the scale isn’t moving.

1.You immediately feel lighter and energized within a week of exercise and your positive attitude reflects your personality.

2.You feel happier and rejuvenated and in a couple of weeks your skin starts glowing and eyes have a subtle shine and you are more exited to get involved in physical, social and many other activities.

3.Your clothes are fitting differently and better. You might have lost an inch in your size and so all your clothes are fitting you properly and more in shape. This leads you to indulge in some new dresses and look vibrant.

4.You develop physical and mental strength which in turn motivates you to face any situation and come out as a winner.

5.When you start living healthy you will crave for healthier stuffs. You will look forward to your workout times and search for healthy foods. You will automatically not want to over eat which contributes to your reduced calorie intake and portion control as well.

6.You start getting compliments from your near and dear ones about how good you look and that adds to the icing on the cake and makes you feel victorious.

With all these points in mind if you continue to live healthy, exercise regularly and eat good quality healthy food no one can stop your scale to move and eventually you will see your desired numbers on the weighing machine.

Health tip of the week

“Don’t lose hope, continue living healthy, scale isn’t the end of the world”.
