It’s been a while since I wrote meal plans. In this duration I realized the importance of meal plans. The main benefit of meal plan that applied to me was to stick onto to healthy diet, within portion control and watching the intake. While I was trying to monitor in some way, meal plans proved to be really helpful in watching the consumption of nutrients and calories. Once written you just have to follow the meal plan or else you may have to monitor food intake and even note down every few hours which might be painful and impractical at times.

Another benefit of meal plans are that make my life easier is I don’t have to rack my brains every day about what to cook and also while grocery shopping I am more organized. This gives me an opportunity to focus my mind on my creations and at the same time my family gets a variety of food to satisfy their taste buds. Of course, my meal plans come with a lot of flexibility depending on individual tastes preference and can be accustomed according to the current situation. Overall, having a handy meal plan is definitely a life savior 🙂

I have mentioned some healthy snack ideas here.  I have shared the detailed dinner plan with recipe links, breakfast and lunch idea also with recipe links in the pdf printable document.

Also don’t forget to read the health tips to stay motivated and in shape 🙂

For Mid-Morning Snacks – include smoothies into your diet to keep you hydrated and full till lunch time.

For Evening Snacks include some low fat yogurt, fresh or dry fruits and nuts. You can also opt for hot snacks if desired.
