I like to plan my meals on Friday so that I can list my grocery items in a more organized way. Weekends are crazy and especially Saturdays when we are either with family& friends or just lazing around. So If I am prepared with my grocery list by Friday I am ready to head out for shopping on Sunday and prepare for the whole week. 🙂
Since I have started meal planning I don’t stare at my refrigerator wondering “what’s for dinner?” I am always so relaxed and have sufficient family time and not to forget, my workouts are getting better with the awesome time management.
To see how easy, delicious, healthy and organized it can be, click on the given meal plan link and follow the meal plan and make your own grocery list. You can shop within budget and leftovers won’t be wasted anymore because I usually use leftovers for my lunch the next day or I refrigerate/freeze the leftovers to use later in the week.
I have provided the meal plan in downloadable pdf document for your convenience to print it and stick it on your refrigerator or save it on your desktop, whatever works for you. I sometimes use extra ordinary combinations in my recipes but that’s what my blog is all about, unique healthy recipes.
I have mentioned some healthy snack ideas here. I have shared the detailed dinner plan with recipe links, breakfast and lunch ideas also with recipe links in the pdf printable document.
Also don’t forget to read the health tips to stay motivated and in shape 🙂
For Mid-Morning Snacks – include smoothies into your diet to keep you hydrated and full till lunch time.
For Evening Snacks include some low fat yogurt, fresh or dry fruits and nuts. You can also opt for hot snacks if desired.

Meal planning is something we struggle with. We always have the intention of doing so but then as you said weekends get busy, or other things come up, and we don’t do as well as we should. Or, we are just plain lazy. 😉 Thanks for the inspiration to try harder!

Hope this works for you Emily.
