As the days are getting busier and we struggle to cope up with the busy schedule our health gets neglected and many family time opportunities are missed simply because at end of the day we spend a huge amount of time only thinking about the dinner menu. As a result we end up eating out either unhealthy food or consume huge portions and invite health troubles.
Even though I am a health blogger and I cook more at home and am diligent in keeping my family and myself in good health I miss out on maintaining the trend of home cooked nutritious food many a times due to lack of planning. So I decided to do my very own weekly meal plan and share it with you all to make yours and my hectic weeks easier and manageable. This gives us an opportunity to involve our whole family into preparing meals and enjoy conversing with them over the dinner table.
Sometimes it’s not only about planning dinner but we also fall short of breakfast and lunch ideas so in my meal plans I always include some breakfast and lunch ideas which can be easily accommodated into our busy and ambitious life.
For Mid-Morning Snacks – include smoothies into your diet to keep you hydrated and full till lunch time.
For Evening Snacks include some low fat yogurt, fresh or dry fruits and nuts. You can also opt for hot snacks if desired.

I’m interested in the beetroot curry. Usually people don’t like the earthy flavours of the beetroot, so will the curry cover up the taste?
Gunjan says
Thanks Agatha for stopping by. I understand what you mean and the same is true with my family as well but the flavor of all the spices and other vegetables in beetroot curry will cover up the earthy taste of beetroot.Hope you like this entree.

I like the idea of cooking barley ahead and having it for the week’s meals. i really like barley but it takes so long to cook I rarely eat it.

I like barley too and I often keep cooked barley in my refrigerator so I thought of sharing this idea.
