Making of Apricot Cucumber Chia Smoothie
Cucumber is a hydrating food with very low calories. It ‘s a perfect healthy food ingredient for summer. Apricots are summer fruits. They add natural flavors to any beverage with its tangy, juicy and sweet texture. I added some soaked chia seeds to increase the protein content of the smoothie. This way I made it filling and replenishing which goes perfectly well after sweating. Coconut water is high in potassium and helps the body to fight dehydration in the summer months.
My family loved this idea of Apricot Cucumber Chia Smoothie after tiring outdoor sports. They enjoyed this beverage to their hearts content and they regained so much energy after drinking this that they went out for another round of biking 🙂
