Superfood Green Smoothie is shown in serving glasses and the ingredients as the props This smoothie is definitely a desirable beverage after a workout and a natural way to consume all the goodness of proteins, carbohydrates and not to forget the good fats.

Rohit was running a full marathon last weekend. Therefore after his race he needed the protein shake. Hence, at that moment an idea struck me. So, I decided to give him some fresh healthy and nutritious drink instead of a store bought protein powder.

Easy steps to make Superfood Green Smoothie

I quickly blended cucumber, avocado, spinach, dates, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds along with some water and topped it with slivered almonds.

It was thick, creamy and full of nutrition. He gulped it down and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Surprisingly, he asked for another glass of it. He thoroughly enjoyed the second helping as well.

I was so encouraged that I decided to test this recipe once again. This time I retested this smoothie recipe on myself.

I blended Superfood Green Smoothie for myself the next day and drank it as my post workout recovery drink. It not only rejuvenated me but gave me back all my energy.

This sounds really good! I’m always on the lookout for a good protein shake after my run, and this one is calling my name. I would probably thin it out just slightly, but I’m really liking all the ingredients in here and the vibrant green color

We eat chia and flax regularly, but have never really gotten into hemp seeds. I know they are good for you though. Since I have some spinach which is on the fritz ill have to pick up some hemp seeds and give this a try! Perfect after all those sweets we had over easter!

I love that this smoothie is actually healthy and not 500 calories like so many out there. And the color is just gorgeous!

Whenever I make a green smoothie, I always add avocado and spinach. Love the colour, and the creaminess from the avocado. I’ve never thought to add cucumber to my smoothies, so I definitely need to try that!
