shelled edamame
(frozen)
1/4
cup
heaped chopped fresh cilantro
1/4
cup
grated/shredded carrots
1/4
cup
broccoli slaw
1
tsp
cumin powder
1/2
tsp
onion powder
Pinch of nutmeg powder
1/2
tsp
salt or as per taste
1/2
cup
vegan bread crumbs

tsp
crushed chili flakes
1
tsp
oil

tsp
white sesame seeds
Instructions
In a food processor combine edamame, cilantro, carrots, broccoli slaw, cumin powder and crush.
Spoon the mixture out in a mixing bowl and add rest of the ingredients (except oil and sesame seeds). Mix well with your hands.
Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form patties between your palms.
Warm oil in a nonstick frying pan and add sesame seeds.
Immediately place the burger patties in the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes or until brown.
Flip the patties to the other side and cook for another 5 minutes or until brown.
Serve as a lettuce wrap or between burger buns with you choice of salad and dressing.
Notes
Make sure to defrost and drain edamame very well.
