This Spicy Garlic Spaghetti in Broccoli Cheese Sauce is a lip smacking twist to the regular Italian dishes. Its a satisfying and comforting 20 minute weeknight meal.
2 1/2cupswhole wheat spaghetti(boiled and drained)
Instructions
In a blender combine all the sauce ingredients and blend it smooth.
In a wok/pan warm up olive oil. Add garlic and broken dry red chilies.
Toss in spaghetti and saute for 1 minute.
Fold in the broccoli cheese sauce and mix very well.
Adjust salt and let it cook for a couple of minutes. (Do not overcook).
Adjust salt as per your taste and serve warm with your choice of herbs sprinkled on it.
Notes
I used tetra pack of coconut milk which is lighter in consistency. If you use canned coconut milk then increase the quantity of water by ¼ cup more.
This recipe calls for a thick creamy sauce but feel free to lighten up the consistency by adding more coconut milk or water according to your requirement. Also adjust salt accordingly.
